ABDULLAHI vs. GUARDSMARK, prevailed in a jury trial on behalf of three security guards who claimed racial and national origin discrimination. Litigated and tried this case against five highly capable attorneys hired by the employer. BARRETT vs. STEUBENVILLE CITY SCHOOLS, obtained a court opinion finding that our client, who was a school teacher in a public school system, had a right of privacy to educate his son in a parochial school. PETERSON vs. BUCKEYE STEEL CASINGS, our client alleged that she had been sexually harassed. This case established the standards to follow in sexual harassment cases filed under Ohio law. In addition, I've handled many other significant harassment, discrimination, and retaliation cases over the years.

I wanted to become an attorney so that I could remedy injustices by using the legal system.
I have experienced discrimination personally and coming from a working-class family, I observed first-hand the difficulties and hardships people face when being out of work.

I contribute to my church financially and serve as one of its attorneys. I contribute to local and international poverty relief programs as well as to programs providing aid to those impacted by disasters. I also financially assist a young pastor in Africa who travels into remote, often dangerous, areas to establish churches.
