Why did you decide to become an attorney?
I wanted an education that would prepare me for numerous potential career paths and settled on law school after advice from my trusted OSU counselors. After clerking with the firm I later joined, I knew working in the law was what I wanted to do.
What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?
My parents taught me the need for honesty and integrity in dealing with people and those lessons continue to serve me and my clients well today. I received terrific training in my first law firm from capable, skilled trial attorneys including the President of the American Bar Association.
What made you choose your primary area of law?
Mostly it was the experience of my first law firm representing many physicians, hospitals and their insurance companies--this led to a fascination with the study of medicine which I continue to enjoy today.
What makes your law firm unique?
I am experienced on both sides of nearly every type of injury case. I provide direct and candid communication with my clients which they appreciate. I choose my cases carefully so my clients recive full attention.
