Why did you decide to become an attorney?
I was attracted to the legal profession in order to satisfy an entrepreneurial itch.
What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?
I worked in the business operated by my father and mother during my high school and college years. That experience prepared me well to look at legal matters from the point of view of the business owner. The most important lesson is to treat others as I would want to be treated myself, and I strive to apply that rule in all business and personal relationships.
What made you choose your primary area of law?
Helping business clients avoid snarls and solve problems was the challenge I found to be most satisfying.

An ideal client is a person dedicated to making his or her business a success.
Describe your personal interests and hobbies.
My second job is walking and playing with our dog, Skip. I am a sports fan, particularly baseball and college football. I get cranky if I have to go more than two days without going to the gym for a workout.
