Why did you decide to become an attorney?
Truth and justice has always been important to me. Providing legal advice and advocating for my clients is work that I am proud to do.
What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?
As a former Assistant Attorney General, I was provided the opportunity to gain litigation experience in workers' compensation law, including trial and appellate work. I am proud to have submitted cases to the Supreme Court for consideration.
What made you choose your primary area of law?
As a former Assistant Attorney General, I was provided the opportunity to gain litigation experience in workers' compensation law. Although there are many workers' compensation attorneys in the state of Ohio, only a smaller portion of these attorneys have a litigation practice.
What makes your law firm unique?
My practice maintains an optimum caseload and staff of individuals who will provide proper attention to the client's needs. The staff includes an associate, a full-time office assistant, and a legal intern. Clients seem to like the smaller law office because they are able to reach an attorney directly when they call with any questions.
Describe your ideal client.
Every client is unique and may require special attention. My staff and I are more than happy to devote our time to meeting the different needs of our clients.
Describe your personal interests and hobbies.
When I am not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my family, being active outdoors, including bike riding, kayaking, gardening and spending time with my dog. Because of my love for the outdoors, I have a curiosity for environmental responsibility. I also enjoy reading, nearly all types of music, traveling and cooking.
I attend church, am a member of KIWANIS and Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed.
Describe your charitable activities.
